Tom Green is a renowned author, speaker, trainer, and professor in the area of New Media. He is an Adobe Community Expert and a Community MX partner
who was included with a group of 10 influential Flash designers that Adobe pulled together to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Flash.
Tom has been involved with Post Secondary education for over a decade is a Professor of Multimedia through the School of Media Studies at the Humber College Institute of Technology and Advanced
Learning in Toronto.
Tom has written nine books, including Foundation Flash CS3 for Designers (friendsofED), From After Effects to Flash: Poetry in Motion Graphics (friendsofED), Foundation Flash 8 Video (friendsofED),
Flash Professional 8: Training from the Source (Macromedia Press), the Captivate Visual QuickStart (Peachpit) and several others. He has also written a number of articles and tutorials for CommunityMX,
the MX Developers Journal, and Digital-Web.
As a speaker, Tom has appeared at Adobe Max, the Central Academy of Fine Arts (Beijing, China), TODCON, NAB, Web Design World, FITC Roadshow: Winnpeg, FITC Goes Hollywood, the China-Canada International Flash Forum,
FlashintheCan, FlashintheCan Video Workshop, the Manitoba Interactive Digital Media Association, FlashinTO, the Rochister Institute of Technology, SparkEurope, DesignFest: Toronto, and many others.
Tom is also the author of the training course Fireworks CS3 Essential Training for Lynda.com.
