Peter-Paul Koch is an internationally recognized JavaScript expert. His site Quirksmode.org
has existed since 1998 and has consistently contained high-quality JavaScript information. It currently draws about 1,000 unique visitors per day, most of which search for specific JavaScript information.
This site serves as a knowledge repository for Microsoft’s Internet Explorer team (see here, and Apple’s Safari team refers to PPK's DOM Compatibility

Known around the Web simply as PPK, Koch is a member of the Web Standards Project DOM Scripting Task Force and has written its JavaScript Manifesto.
PPK has also been a technical editor for David Flanagan’s JavaScript, the Definitive Reference, O’Reilly, 4th edition, 2001, and has written a JavaScript chapter in Glasshaus’s Web Professional’s Handbook,
which has appeared online at WebReference, as well as JavaScript chapters for a Dutch book.
Peter-Paul is also the founder and moderator of WDF-DOM, an important advanced JavaScript mailing list that counts most JavaScript gurus among its membership.
