Adam Pash is a freelance technology writer based in Los Angeles, CA, and a contributor to the hugely popular blog
Lifehacker, where he posts daily tips, downloads, and reviews of the best productivity wares on the net.
Adam graduated from the University of Iowa with an interdepartmental degree in the Philosophy of Science, Arts, and Ethics in 2003. He continued taking classes for a year following
his graduation while working for the university's Information Technology Center.
In 2004, Adam moved to Los Angles and began working for Hitachi Consulting, mostly polishing his Excel voodoo. After six months with Hitachi, Adam decided that his love of technology
deserved a voice. He began working for About.com (part of The New York Times Company) as their Guide to Digital Music in May of 2006.
Adam's technological expertise has been tapped by National Public Radio (NPR), and his freelance work has appeared in XLR8R, a music and culture print magazine. He loves his new MacBook
Pro, keyboard shortcuts, and productivity-enhancing software.
Adam is also the co-author of the forthcoming How to Do Everything with Your iPhone (McGraw-Hill).
