David Fugate
The Founder of LaunchBooks Literary Agency, David Fugate, has successfully represented more than 800 books to over 40 different publishers and has generated more than $11 Million for authors. He represents authors such as Jon Jeter, the former Washington Post Bureau Chief for both South America and South Africa, and two time Pulitzer Prize finalist; Jonathan Watts, the China correspondent for the UK Guardian; Kevin Mitnick, the world's most famous hacker and author of The Art of Deception; Louis Foreman, Creator and Executive Producer of the PBS show Everyday Edisons, which begins airing April 19th, 2007; Wagner James Au, author of the forthcoming book Notes from the New World (HarperCollins) and who has written for Wired and Slate; Jonathan Baskin, winner of the PR industry's highest award - the Silver Anvil - for the work he led for the Statue of Liberty/Ellis Island Project and author of the forthcoming Branding Only Works on Cattle (Warner Books); Daniel Terdiman of CNET News.com; Dean Takahashi of The San Jose Mercury News and many others.
